In the heart of Arizona's magnificent White Mountains, Sunrise Park Resort is a recreational paradise offering a wide range of fun and excitement. In winter, our three mountains offer some of the finest skiing in the Western United States. Our 65 runs promise adventure for skiers of any level. There is also a separate snowboarding area, cross country ski trails and a special childrens's "ski-wee" area.

Mountain Biking in Arizona's White Mountains
 
The Arizona White Mountains are a mountain biker's paradise! The trails are not crowded, the temperature is great, and the rides are incredible. Hiking in the White Mountains
 
Hiking in the White Mountains if one of the favorite pastimes of the residents of Pinetop as well as all the visitors to our gorgeous area.  You can hike around Woodland Lake with its covered bridge on a paved surface or you can hike trails in and around Pinetop.  There are several trails withing 5 miles of Pinetop or you can hike in and around the White Mountains of Arizona.  Below is a couple links that may help you locate the trail for you.
 
 

Horseback Riding

Horse backriding in the White Mountains can be and is an awesome experience.  If you have your own horses you can ride and camp in equestrian campgrounds or just trailor your horses just outside of town for a great ride on one of our trails.  If you want to rent horses for the day I have include a couple of stables and link for your convenienc.

Sleigh Rides
Sleigh Rides can be found in the winter at the base of Sunrise Mountain by
Sunrise Ski Area at Snowy Mountain Stables 928-735-7449.
 
 
 
 
 Archery Shoots
                          

There are two archery shoots at Sunrise Ski area and they are usually on July 4th weekend and Memorial Day weekend.  For information about the Memorial day shoot contact the Arizona Bowhunters Association website.
